Yo haciendo la flecha / Me as The Arrow Girl

He tenido una semana de cine, y no lo digo metafóricamente, lo que pasa es que he estado colaborando como voluntaria en el Festival de Cine de Londres. Y después de esto no se puede llegar más bajo en la industria del cine. He sido acomodadora sin cobrar un duro y hasta he tenido la gran responsabilidad de ser una señal humana, algo así como ser un árbol en la obra del cole.

A cambio he visto muchas pelis gratis, he charlado con gente de lo más interesante, he hecho de niñera de un montón de adolescentes británicos hormonados, he visto a Judi Dench y a Stephen Frears de lejos y me han dado una camiseta super molona. ¡Que más se puede pedir!

El miércoles cerramos la edición con un fiestote de voluntarios, aún me estoy planteando si ir o no, por si me toca hacer de niñera de nuevo...

Y antes de irme os dejo una recomendación: Id a ver Nebraska.

This week has been film themed, because I had the opportunity of volunteering with the London Film Festival. And after this you can't get any lower within the film industry. I worked as  an usher without getting paid, and had the huge responsability of being a human sign, kind of being a tree in a primary school performance.

In return I have seen a couple of movies for free, chat with some very interesting people, babysitted a bunch of British teenagers, seen Judi Dench and Stephen Frears from far away and they even gave me a gorgeous tshirt!. I really couldn't ask for more.

We close this edition on wednesday with a big volunteers party, but I am still pondering whether going or not, there is a chance I have to babysit again...

My personal recommendation: See Nebraska.
